A great revival manga for the Warrior Series
I got into reading Warrior Cats in 6th grade in 2010 when I found the Graystripe manga. Never reading a book prior or knowing anything about this series. The art, characters, and story pulled me in. That book and Graystripe have been my favorite since, I read every Warriorâs manga and book after that. To this day Iâm beginning to slowly grow my Warrior Catâs collection to show my support and love for this series.I wonât lie, I wasnât sure about this revival and new art style. Even going back to the first book/series. Will they cut out important parts? Will they change the characters I know and love? What if it isnât like the first time baby Brooke found a cool looking cat manga in a middle school library. Reading it and being pulled into the world, becoming a warrior herself with how much she was pulled in. Fighting, healing, leading, and grieving each of them. Wellâ¦.It pulled me back to that time and it was all new to me again. Erin Hunter chose the right people to revive the series with this adaptation. The more I read the more I slowed down because it was getting close to the end. I wanted more. More of this art and story, curious what was going to happen next. When I already know what to expect. There was a longing of wanting more and a dread for the end of this manga. I loved every second, minute, and hour this graphic novel has given me. Iâm definitely pre-ordering the Yellowfang one next, Hardcover again as well. Because the art and details is amazing! I canât describe the beauty in words just sitting here gushing at it. Also, I took a picture of a bonus page to show how much thought and love they put into this. Thereâs a bit more bonus pages but Iâm not spoiling that.Buy this book and make it a hardcover, youâll be reading this book over and over again. Youâre gonna want a strong book to make it last longer ð I hope the artists do a signing soon cause I want them to sign this. Theyâre in Texas as well, so they wonât be too far for that. â¤ï¸âºï¸Be it a long time reader or new, this is a great book for Warrior fans. Join the world and enjoy this amazing art-thrilling adventure.

Cute
I really enjoyed this graphic novel. It provided a clearer understanding of the events and settings, and I especially appreciated seeing the ThunderClan camp. The description of the camp often changes, so having a visual representation was really helpful. Another positive is that this graphic novel combines two books into one, which is great for quickly progressing through the first series. I’m particularly excited to see the next two series adapted into graphic novel form, although I doubt Long Shadows and Sunrise will be released anytime soon! That said, I really liked this graphic novel and am eagerly looking forward to the next one in April, featuring Yellowfang on the cover. However, there are a few drawbacks to mention. One issue I had was with the artwork. Firestar looks more like a pampered house cat than the strong, noble leader I envision. In other graphic novels, like A Thief in ThunderClan or Graystripe’s Adventure, Firestarâs portrayal is more regal and fitting for a leader. But in this book, he just doesnât even look like a warrior. It’s not just him, though, it’s all of the drawings. For example, the Yellowfang and Silverstream artwork highly dssappointed me. Yellowfang looks completely different, and I thought Silverstram would look a lot more… elegant. That said, I recognize that a lot of effort went into the illustrations, and while I miss the older art style, the new drawings do have their own charm and cuteness. I think the pros outnumber the cons in this book.

STORYTELLING AND ACTION
I loved how they told the story and every thing but on thing Iâm confused about is why is Rustyâs warrior name fire paw in the chapter books his name is fire star but. Overall pretty cool story artwork is really nice and cool there is a lot of cool pictures in the book. And it came pretty quickly I ordered it 2 days ago and it came even though it was supposed to arrive on Tuesday but that was pretty nice that it came quick. Canât wait till I can get the second and third.

I love this book even though I haven’t the original
It has so many loveable characters and I just love all the cute cats. It really makes you want more with every page you read. I just can’t get enough of it, when I was done reading this book I instantly wanted to read the next book, so if you’re a person deciding about buying this book or not, you should 100% buy it, it’s worth the money and worth the read! âºï¸

Fun but rushed
Overall, I think this is a pretty well done adaptation. The art is very vibrant and fluid. It doesn’t hold back on the blood and action scenes described in the books. It’s definitely a significant improvement compared to the other graphic novels in the series. However, I feel like the story seemed a bit rushed. There’s certain significant scenes omitted from the novels such as the one with Fireheart saving Sandpaw’s life at the gorge. It makes more sense to me if they just dedicated one volume to one book instead of adapting Into the Wild and the first half of Fire and Ice into one volume

I have a lot of nostalgia for the original The Prophecies Begin series, and this didnât disappoint. A fresh take on the original story with wonderful, life-filled artwork, with streamlined action and delightful character interpretations. The only criticism I have is *spoiler* the speeding through of Fire and Ice, I felt that wasnât covered quite as much as I would have liked, with Whiteclawâs death being entirely cut, which is a choice I donât fully understand. Hopefully this pattern wonât continue, as the next graphic novel will cover the third and fourth books, with Rising Storm being a particular favourite of mine.
