My second grader loves these books. He is obsessed with diary of a Wimpy kid, so this was a great series to transition to! Itâs good also for their vocabulary level and I didnât find any words that were harder than âtacticalâ, or âcontraptionâ. My son was also dying, laughing at some lines in the first book. I also appreciate the hardcover that will stand the test of time, and the rough hands of a seven-year-old.
