Lots of info! Lots to read!
The Everything Kids’: Money Book has a lot of cool information that I didn’t even know myself. As others have said, there is a LOT of reading in this book. There are only 30 activities. But if your child doesn’t mind a bit of reading, this book shouldn’t be a worry. I would say that a 4th to 5th grader should be able to read this smoothly. The book offers some cool projects for the kids to do, like shining up old pennies. Physical conditions wise, the book was in excellent shape. I ordered it new and it didn’t get banged up in the shipping process. It is a little bigger than I expected, but it should fit in a backpack with ease. It isn’t super thick either. The reading part is 137 pages long split into 9 chapters. In total, it is 152 pages long adding that there are three appendices, a glossary section, a resources section, and the answer key.

Perfect for a 10 year old entrepreneur
I bought this for my nephew’s 10th birthday, because he’s been showing some interest in money and in entrepreneurial endeavors. He’s not necessarily a big reader, so I wasn’t really sure how this would go over, but he did read it, and it seems to have held his interest, and he does seem to have a better grasp of money math now. I read the reviews before I bought it and was a little concerned that one mentioned that the book discusses gambling, so when I received the book I read it to make sure it was appropriate. While gambling is mentioned, it isn’t something that comes up repeatedly in this book, or that is presented in a particularly positive light – so it doesn’t seem to me that this book is likely to encourage him to gamble or make him think it’s a good option. The Amazon page says this book is for ages 7 to 12, but I think it’s a little “young” for a 12 year old, and if I were purchasing for a child that age I probably would have selected a book that’s geared toward teens.

    Essential info
Great for young readers and essential too since public schools do little to teach about money and personal finance, yet these topics are key for life success. Very worthwhile purchase.

    Age Appropriate/Seeing themselves
I brought these and many more for the little ones in my family who are almost 5 and 7 yrs. I have selected ones for the 7 year old who can read now. I am starting with the books marked “1”. Books will be selected for each which is appropriate for their level.
