Decent
This is a typical Hallmark mystery series where a curious heroine helps solve murder mysteries while falling for the handsome single detective who is on the case. In this case, the heroine is Ruby Herring, a local reporter on a Seattle TV news show. The three mysteries are decent. The first two involve people who were killed by poisoning and the third one involves a cold case that gets reopened after five years. I would say these more or less follow the typical mystery formulas where there are a lot of potential suspects and the viewer gets tempted into suspecting the wrong ones along the way only to find out the real killer was someone else. The characters in these are fairly engaging and fun to watch. I would say the stories, as usual, stretch reality a little here and there and they are maybe slightly less dramatic at the end than some of the other series but each movie does have a little more tie-up on the personal side of the characters that usual too so it’s a nice balance. Overall, I wouldn’t rater these as the top mystery series but they are worth the watch.

Okay Hallmark Series
Typical Hallmark Series, okay on the acting, storyline a little long in the tooth, have to write something I guess to fill in the 84 minutes.

Love this series
I wish they made more.

These three mysteries were in my opinion one of the worst from Hallmark ever. The two main characters didnât have any chemistry. There was no build up climatic moment when the murderer was revealed.Weird storylines with tarot cards and psychics. Too much environmental fluff.Would never ever watch again!!!When you compare to Aurora Teagarden or Garage Sale mysteries there is no comparison.Donât waste your money.
