  1. C. Cullen

One of the best cookbooks I own
I bought this cookbook for myself and liked it so much that I bought one for each of my three daughters. I have yet to make a recipe from the book that I would not happily make again. Every recipe has a very short list of ingredients and short prep time but the resulting meal is full of color and flavor. Highly HIGHLY recommend this cookbook!

  2. Viviantia

    Must have!
Fantastic!!! I love this book and it’s delicious BUT easy recipes!

  3. Carolyn Sikes

Book is good – packing is not
We really like the recipes in this book – they are mostly easy and all interesting and tasty. What we don’t like is the poor packaging (no plastic) so the book arrives dog eared on both the front and back covers.

  4. Ren

    The BEST weeknight cookbook
I’m a nurse and my husband is a contractor/business owner. We both work five days a week, and I workout after work. This book has the most delicious non time consuming recipes we have ever experienced. They are seriously so good and easy to make. An absolute must have cookbook!

  5. David Vasquez

    Variety of meals
This cook book is nice however requires custom spices that I normally purchase. If you like Asian meals and have items like sesame oil and spices it may work for you. I do not normally carry different spices for Asia or Indian dining. Can become pricey fir one recipe.

  6. Lynda Lowe

    Great recipes
I love this cookbook, it is easy to read and follow. Love the tips they give you or substitutions. All around great book.

  7. Don J

    Great meal planning helper!
This book helps me with week night dinner ideas. The recipes are simple and easy to follow and do not take too long to prepare. I like that they have pictures of the recipes so you can visualize before you cook. I don’t consider all of the dishes are meals, I would say that some are sides or mains which need sides.

  8. PAB

    Many Favorites and Many More
Over the years, I have looked forward to Wednesdays when the NYT Easy Weeknight Dinners feature would be published in the Denver Post. I would select one every few months, and was never disappointed. So, I was thrilled when the book became available and bought it right away. Looking through it, I see some of our favorites, including the one featured on the cover, and a lot more that I am excited to try – Pasta with Andouille Sausage, Beans and Greens this week!

  9. AR

Brilliant book. Clever ideas which actually work and are within the timescale of an average evening meal but way above average average outcomes.

  10. Harriet White

I’m not a great cook, don’t enjoy it much, but thought a whole book of “easy” recipes might change my mind. These have lots of spices and ingrediemts that you’d have to have on hand but only use once or twice. But like I said, I don’t cook every night, it’s just me and my husband, so maybe I’m not the target audience. I found a few that I’m going to try, so maybe success with those will flip a switch for me.

  11. June Aylsworth

Tasty, easy recipes. Most have ingredients that I have on hand.

  12. Pamelag

Straightforward directions and good recipes without too many gourmet ish ingredients. I always want to see good photos and this book has them. After all, we eat with our eyes

  13. Hush13

    Wonderful book
