Fast paced action!
Barbaric is a fast paced action comic with a gorgeous art style that will leave you wanting more after the final page has been read.Owen the barbarian is cursed to make amends for his horrid past. His curse? He has to help anyone who ask no matter who they are….as long as they’re a good person. Armed with his sentient axe, yes you read that right a sentient axe! Owen carves a path to rid himself of the curse.
Andrew Evans –
Great series to get into. Real graphic. Read it on a plane
I bought the whole series. Amazing novels, and great artwork.
Marcus –
worth it
Attracted by the name and cover image. Story held me. Artwork is pretty radical. Like the character backstory and development. You should pick this up and enjoy the journey.
Vaurin –
Nice art, interesting premise
Art was nice and really liked the premise of a barbarian forced to do good- has a lot of potential. Stories have been ‘ok’ – not bad, but rather straight-forward and formulaic for an anti-hero story.
Awesome.. . Mint condition.. . Another incredible story about my favorite un-super hero. Good Arts!! ! –
Great Story Mint Condition!! !

Derek –
Not what I expected and thatâs a good thing
Barbaric manages to capture the essence of Conan, if it was an action comedy. Not kidding the art is fun and different ( I think digitally inked) and I found myself laughing out loud to the jokes and scenarios he found himself in. Really, Owen and his axe are the new best odd couple of the barbarian age. My only complaint in this first arc, is that it had just really found it’s stride and it was over. But I guess thatâs a good thing I definitely want to get vol 2. If you are a fan of sword and sorcery style books, as I am, I think you might really like to get to know Owen.
Adam –
The art is excellent, but the story is only pretty good. I intend to buy the next volume, but I won’t be counting the days.
WQ –
Kende dit totaal niet maar valt goed mee.

Einfach genial. Ein Muss für jeden, der auf Barbaren, Fantasie, Gewalt und gut geschriebene Charaktere steht.
